Extra Mural Strive is a fitting motto for our sports teams at Hurlyvale Primary School, as we strive to be the best not only in the classroom but on the sports fields too. We do not place emphasis only on winning but rather on mass participation and to participate at the highest level. Hurlyvale Primary School is very proud of the learners who were awarded provincial colours for Cricket, Soccer, Swimming and Tennis. And even as we strive to be the best we have fun!

The school has an enthusiastic drumline and concerts are performed every year. Hurlyvale Primary can justifiably boast of the excellent achievements, both culturally and on the sports fields, of our many learners.
