Collections of dog food for FORA PDF Print E-mail

Hurlyvale Learners collected pet food and other goodies for the opening of FORA (Friends of Rescued Animals). This was delivered on Saturday 27th Feb when they had their opening. Here are a few learners with all the goodies that were collected.

Dear Parents,

 

From Monday, 8  March to Friday, 12 March we will be testing the Grade 4’s on work which has been taught during the 1st Term.  In Grade 4, every piece of work is assessed and evaluated so these tests should not be viewed as “exams” but rather as an indication that your child has achieved the objectives and the outcomes for the first term.

Morning To All Our HVPS Families

 

Welcome back to school.

 

Someone once said :-

 

'The past is history, the future is a mystery, today is a gift, that's why we call it the present.'  Time is the New Year's generous blessing: three hundred & sixty five new mornings & magical evenings; fifty two promise filled weeks, twelve months full of beautiful possibilities; & four marvellous seasons.  Let us welcome this New Year full of new beginnings & things that have never been.

Please note that our first fundraising meeting will be held on Thursday 04/02/2010 in the schools staff room at 07.00pm, all our parents are invited to attend the meeting.  The following dates have be diarized in the schools year planner for fundraising meetings, so please diarize all future dates for meetings:
